Famous last words from the guy who never had a claim! An Extended Warranty is just like insurance, you don't need it... UNTIL YOU NEED IT!. I had bike insurance for 20 years before my first claim... BUT I'M STILL THANKING GOD I HAD IT! Most likely your new bike won't have mechanical failure, but what if it does? Repair reports show that 75% of the cost on all warranty repair work is for parts.
