As a race rider, and as a master motorcycle mechanic, Tom is highly respected among his peers both for his talent and his dedication to the sport. As a person, he is equally highly respected and well liked for his willingness to go out of his way to help others and his honest and straightforward approach to life in general.

Since 1996, when he entered the very exclusive ranks of world-class professional motorcycle racers, Tommy Miceli has competed on the AMA Prostar Racing Circuit in several categories including the Pro-Modified, Pro-Street, Street Bike Shootout and Formula Super Bike classes.

Tommy has been racing Motorcycles and building engines for over 15 years. In 1999 and 2000 alone, he was victorious in eleven AMA Prostar events and was runner up six times. He is the 1999 Street Bike Shootout World Champion and the 2000 Pro-Modified World Champion with a runner up ranking in 1999. He has set and reset the Outlaw Pro-Street Bike record 4 times, lowering the elapsed time to 7.47 seconds and in 2000, raised the mile per hour to 190mph for the Pro-Street class.

Tom made his first two professional NHRA starts in 2001and qualified among the top sixteen riders for the final elimination rounds in both events.

In 2002, his first full season of NHRA Pro Stock motorcycle drag racing, Tom finished 12th in the NHRA Motorcycle National Point Standings and was selected as one of the five finalists, from all NHRA major event professional car and motorcycle classes, for the “Road To The Future Award”, which honors the NHRA’s “Rookie Of The Year”.

Tom has been featured and pictured in virtually every major motorcycle publication including NHRA National Dragster, Sport Ride, Street and Strip, Cycle World, Cycle News, Motorcycle Magazine, Motorcyclist and Motorcycle Performance.
